Who we are
DevTrios is a software engineering company registered in the United Kingdom, operating from Avenue Road, SE25 4DX, London, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described on this page — meaning we decide why and how it is used.
For anything to do with your data, email info@devtrios.com and put “Data request” in the subject line.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into a form. There is no hidden collection.
| Where | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Contact and quote forms | Name, email, phone (optional), and what you write about your project | To reply to you and scope the work |
| Newsletter sign-up | Email, and first and last name if you give them | To send you the occasional article |
| Any form | Your IP address and browser user-agent | Spam prevention and rate limiting only — never used to profile you |
We do not ask for payment details on this website, and we do not collect special category data such as health, biometrics or political opinions.
Our legal basis
Under UK GDPR we rely on two grounds:
- Consent — you tick the box on a contact form, or sign up to the newsletter. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the site free of spam, and keeping a record of enquiries so a conversation is not lost between emails.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries — two years from your last contact, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Ask and we will delete yours sooner.
- Newsletter — until you unsubscribe, then removed within thirty days.
- Spam-prevention data — IP addresses are discarded after one hundred and eighty days.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- stop using it, or restrict how we use it
- hand it to another provider in a portable format
- stop sending you marketing — always, and without giving a reason
Email info@devtrios.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are stored in a database with row-level access rules, meaning a record can only be read by an authenticated member of our team. Dashboard accounts are individual, password-protected, and role-limited — nobody has more access than their job needs.
No system is perfect. If we ever suffer a breach that puts your rights at risk, we will tell the ICO within seventy-two hours and tell you without undue delay.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under sixteen. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When our practices change, this page changes and the date at the top moves with it. There is no archive of previous versions — if you need one for a contract, ask and we will send it.
